Certification Process
As CFE CERT, we offer ISO 20000-1 Certification service with IAS accreditation. The certification process includes the following steps:
- Pre-Audit (Optional) – The organisation’s system structure is assessed.
- Certification Audit – Stage 1 – The scope, policies and process documentation of the SMS are examined.
- Certification Audit – Stage 2 – The effectiveness of service management in practice is audited.
- Certification – ISO/IEC 20000-1 certificate is issued if conformity is achieved.
- Surveillance Audits – The sustainability of the service management system is assessed annually.
- Recertification – At the end of 3 years, the system is re-verified for currency.
